All;

Just an update on our trip to Sugarbush this week. Today was our first flyable day. No wave but some decent lift in the valley. Here are a few pics from today.

A beautiful day today but not the best soaring day. Rob and I were able to carve out a couple of hours on the west ridge. Here is a pic of the GLG group preparing their K21 with oxygen.

For those of you who have traveled to Sugarbush in the past, you will remember Owen Anderson. Owen is now 14 and has completed this glider training and is waiting for his FAA paper work to be processed (this could take some time). Here is Owen with his RC plane which he demonstrated for us at the end of the flying day. Great flying Owen!

Thanks for the update on Owen.

I always looked forward to talking to him. I found him to be quite a unique young man who was totally dedicated to flying and the soaring group at Sugarbush and they in turn gave him all the opportunities he needed to progress towards his licence,. He will be a great asset to them. Any club would be lucky, and proud, to have a young man like Owen around

We too have an Owen, Cole Bishop, Chapter Manager Freedoms Wings, and volunteer extraordinaire.

No RC though
