The electric Vario in QPR stopped working a couple of weeks ago so over the weekend I replaced it with the Westerboer VW3SG (classic 1970's electro-pneumatic design) that was on the shelf in the workshop. The unit appears to be working fine, but don't get to worked up over the speed director as it is calibrated for a different aircraft and will tell you to fly too fast (STF theory seems to have moved away from following a needle anyway).
