Parachute Annual Repacking

Post by Charles Petersen » Mon Jun 10, 2019 12:25 pm

Two of York's parachutes were repacked in Florida (obviously, the two that were with the DG 500) by Strong's Chief Rigger.

The remaining parachutes need to be identified, marked as out of service, and repacked.
They will soar on wings like eagles - Isaiah 40:3`

the other parachutes are gone. I recall being told they were being packed, but I forget by whom.

I believe Jim took them to Martin several weeks ago.

I dropped my personal chute off at the club today. It was re-packed by Joe Stubbs in May and is good to go. I figured it could be put to better use there than just gathering dust in our garage. Hopefully I will be able to make use of it myself one of these days. Until then feel free to use it BUT please take care of it; it's in great shape and needs to be left that way (i.e. don't leave it out in the sun - put it back into it's bag as soon as it's been used).
