I picked up a NALOXONE kit to keep at the club. This is the antidote to opioid overdose that has saved many lives during this tragic epidemic.
Like the AED at York, I hope it need never be used; you wouldn't think a pilot would even consider flying on narcotics, but we do have visitors, and at a guess, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that one of them might.
I hope to get the instructions laminated and mount them in a suitable location with the kit. It consists of nasal inhalers, and is fairly uncomplicated to use. Giving it to someone not overdosing will not cause harm.
So, when it's mounted take a few moments to inform yourself about its use
