Monday, May 27th

Post by jwlemke » Sun May 26, 2019 4:06 pm

I'm hoping to do a check ride and some flying tomorrow. The weather looks good but the rest of the week poor.
Who will be around - any instructors or tug pilots?

Runways were very wet today, so we don't know how soft they will be tomorrow.

But yes, we have people to run the operation.

If we are lucky we might fly in the afternoon. At best we should be able to fly the 2-33 but no chance of the heavier ships for a few days yet. I plan on being out mid morning to cut some more grass. John can put out an update after 11am to state if we will fly or not. Lets hope for the best.

Did not fly anything today as it was just too wet.

Regards.

Thanks for the update Tom. Late start last year and this. I hope it isn't a trend!

We did about twelve 2-33 flights and one 1-34 flight of about an hour. Lots of grass cut. All of 14/32 is done and bits of rnwys 12...17...and 05. You could land safely on any of those. Thanks to Molly, Tim B. and John Brake for a full day of effort.

Regards.
