IT'S NOT OVER 'TIL IT'S OVER

Post by Doug Carman » Sun Nov 04, 2018 8:28 pm

You may have noticed Stan's quiet note about 8 flights today, after thanking helpers for packing and winterizing.

Now, I have looked at the weather, and so far next weekend looks flyable. So don't give up yet, just dress warmly!

Are there club gliders available to fly?

I think we had one of the twin Grobs, a 2-33 and the LS-4 flying yesterday. I'm not sure what else is easily available. We have to be careful about digging too far back into the hangar as it's had one of Paul's expert packs to fit everything in. Although, there's a second 2-33 that is going to be de-rigged, and once that's done there should be plenty of space.

Thursday is a possibility also. I'd love to get another flight in (LS4) if it can be extracted. Perhaps someone might be interested in getting the Grob out too.

Lining up tow pilots for you crazy winter weather flyers :) currently sounds like Doug and Paul are around Saturday.

Waiting to hear back from Gabor, he’s potentially available in the afternoon.

In 2014, there must have been more die-hards at the club. No takers for tomorrow so no go.
